no i mean it.

i really do like my job. today at least. here is why - in no particular order:

i signed up for a gmail account. yes i already have my work email and yahoo but now with gmail i can IM people who have gmail. super necessary. but the best part was when they asked me what i wanted my user name to be i said "karimayhew" makes sense right? well apparently some other kari mayhew out there beat me to the punch so gmail suggested the following for me:

mayhew.karimayhew.kari110@gmail.com


ummm can you imagine the response you would get if someone asked you your email and you replied with that?? crazy. (ok so that had zero to do with liking my job but added a bit of laughter to the day)

me and 2 very fun co workers went out to the rockford for lunch today. a well needed and very tasty break. topics of discussion included : state football, the upcoming DOC (drink of choice) party, ways to make a co worker we dont like cry and dogs. perfect lunchtime conversation!

i received a super (STEELER!) gift to day from one of my printing vendors. a really nice guy who no doubt has heard me talk about my team on more than one occasion. ha. imagine not one, but an entire TOWER of steeler goodies. now that is fantastic.



someone brought in fresh bagels for breakfast.

my birthday is on monday and i have promises of home-made cake from the lady across the hall. sweet!

i didnt have to do any cutting or pasting or crafty projects today.

talked alot of football. from tennessee's inevitable death march tomorrow at florida and urban myers obsession for revenge and obliteration.. to the steelers prospects at beating the bears on sunday..

i realized that afore mentioned work friends really are good friends and well you cant get enough of those these days.
