the day that shook an unshakable
the day where the unimaginable was reality
the day when common men became a heros
the day questions came without answers
the day pride swelled higher than smoke
the day that brought a nation together
its so easy to forget. but ok to be reminded. today was a day for me when a culmination of alot of shit, forgive the word, came together. and it was a good friend who helped clear the air. no lives were saved, no countries defended and no bad guys caught. but i felt the helping hand and wow did it feel good.

i was in my ex-mother-in-law's garage, re-inventorying my newly issued field gear from an Artillery Firing Battery. I checked it twice again while watching the news. I was ready. Never got the call to go, though. Thanks for the post.
Yes, it's crazy how everyone remembers exactly where they were and exactly what they were doing when they found out. It's good to be reminded because it is so easy to forget...
