i heart cot-ton

ok so yes when i wake up in the morning the last place (ok maybe second to last place besides the pool!) i want to go is to work. i'm just not sold on the whole 9-5 for 40 years of your life thing. BUT truth be told, even though i do spend an inordinate amount of time cutting, pasting, hauling, and shopping (could be the root to my retail angst!) i really dont have but so much to complain about. i mean, office politics are everywhere right. all across the world adults are acting like high school sophomores, or maybe worse. I'm mostly left alone to do my thing, which i admit starts and ends with a lot of web surfing...and there are some (few) cool peeps here who make lame jokes and participate in lame pranks. (i have a box of jello sitting on my desk just waiting to be made into a stapler mold..) SO why the work post? seems like all of this is pretty standard stuff. well i found out today there is a 92% chance that in Jan of next year i get to go here

for work. which means paid for by work. that is pretty sweet. and in case your geography skills are at or below a 5th grade level.. (ha) that is mt. Kilimanjaro. and i will be summiting it in 2011. woo woo.

wow - that's awesome. You know you may have to become a morning person for that because you'll probably have to get up at o'dark thirty to start the climb to the top. Or maybe you can just stay awake all night.
