so i wont go into the details, but i find myself at my desk with my right leg propped up and surrounded by ice. lovely. this is the same ankle i busted while running across the parking lot carrying dirt 2 years ago. no need to cover that story either. BUT i have managed two pretty good swims over the past two days and keeping some hope that a bike ride is possible tomorrow. we'll see. in the meantime i'm conning people at work to go and get me stuff though i think the charm in that wore off at 10am when i needed my oatmeal made. and said that the water in my bottle was warm. oh well.
anyway finally signed up for the rest of the races for the season. nothing like waiting till the last minute. but lots to look forward to.
im working on a denim brochure at work and honestly it slow goings. there are not alot of ways to make this particular denim sound all glamorous and awesome. really. i've tried. it either comes off sounding like an SNL skit (a bad one) or an old lady on QVC selling her bedazzled sweat pants. today i am not good at my job.
so i'm also finding it hard to believe its been ONE year since MJ died. really? one YEAR?? i'm kind of feeling like it was only a few months ago.. funny how my time flies reference comes from a dead 80s pop icon, and by the way - i did happen to see a preview for his monkey's dateline special. really. do we have nothing to talk about besides a primate who cant even moonwalk. though i am enjoying the montage of jackson singalongs on the radio today. RIP mike.
